Mumbai: In a first of its kind business event for the Muslim entrepreneurs in India, Chicago based Indian Entrepreneur Tausif Malik in association with a host of local NGOs is organising a day-long Indian Muslim Entrepreneurs Networking (IMEN) Conference on Sunday, February 07, 2016.
The day-long event to be held at Sun N Sand Hotel in Pune from morning 08:30 to 05:00 is expected to be addressed by business experts, academicians, educationalists and government officers.
"The aim of this business summit is to create an Startup event, incubation and accelerator platform for the Muslim Entrepreneurs, support Government’s vision in economic development, to create Halal Investment and earning opportunities, and encourage Muslim Community participation in Economic activity", Tausif Malik, who is also the founder of Muslim Spelling Bee competitions, said while talking to ummid.com.
"For the first time in India Muslim Entrepreneurs will have a platform to present their ideas, business and projects at Startup showcase for investment", he added.
He said the idea of organising the business summit came when Malik met Anees Kutty, Founder of Anees Classes and Pragati Classes, and A Gaffar Khan, Founder of Unique Foundation, to discuss about hosting Muslim Spelling Bee Pune regional competition.
"It was during this meeting that we decided to establish Indian Muslim Entrepreneurship Networking Event (IMEN) and MStartups.Biz to create a platform for Muslim Entrepreneurs to connect, excel and contribute to motherland India", he said.
At the end of the event, awards in various categories will be conferred on achievers who include Dr. Kalbe Sadiq, Sharif Ibrahim Kutty, Dr.Jalil D Parkar, Educator & App creator Imran Khan and Sania Mirza.
