Mumbai: Three politicians - two in India and one in the United States, in news for their alleged hate speeches. What else is common between the three? They have a shared birthday.
As Republican Party presumptive nominee for the 2016 US Presidential election Donald Trump plans to celebrate his 70th birthday today i.e. June 14 so does two Indian politicians Akbaruddin Owaisi and Raj Thackeray. Along with Trump, they too are celebrating their 46th and 48th birthday on June 14.
Akbaruddin Owaisi is the senior leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen of Hyderabard (AIMIM) whereas Raj Thackeray is Founder and Chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Both the party leaders, like Donald Trump, are accused of playing divisive politics.
And this coincidence has set the social media on fire.
"Today is the birthday of three Greatest Peace loving Personalities of the World.
1. Donald Trump.
2. Akbaruddin Owaisi.
3. Raj Thackeray",
a sarcastic message posted on 'Unofficial: Subramaniam Swamy' Facebook page said.
Within minutes, the post received over two dozen comments.
"It should be declared national holiday as it will create communall harmoney", Astar Apple wrote in response to the above post.
Shaik Mehboob Noori was equally sarcastic. He wrote, "I think peace start with these three.."
In his comment, Naseer Khan wrote, "First is a created one for the world ..second to divide two communities and third gone already with th his baggage of crimes."
Asithakesakambal Ch wrote, "Happy B'day monsters ... what a crazy coincidence."
In her comment posted in response to the above FB post, Fatima Nooruddin wrote, "My god all three Devils arrived together!"
Malay Maji wrote, "Three idiots representing Amar , Akbar and Anthony lol..."
Some netizens even wanted the day to be declared as "World Hatred Day" and "Jokers Day".
Messages with sarcasting comments are also circulated on WhatsApp.
Noting that Donald Trump, Akbaruddin Owaisi and Raj Thaceray share the same birthday, a WhatsApp post says, "What a coincidence. All hate mongers arrived on the same day..."
Interestingly, even the day did not end without a controversy as media reports said a cake with the image of AIMIM chief and Akbaruddin Owaisi's elder brother Asaduddin Owaisi was cut during the celebrations to mark the birthday of Raj Thackeray today.
Accoridng to the reports, Raj Thackeray was greeted by his supporters at his residence 'Krishna Kunj' at Dadar in Central Mumbai, where some supporters brought the cake with Owaisi's image on it and cut it.
Raj Thackeray had targeted Owaisi after he triggered a row early this year saying he would not chant 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', even if a knife is put to his throat.
"Come to Maharashtra, I will put a knife to your throat," the MNS chief had said.
