Telangana 2017 Inter Pass Percent

Girls outshined boys and the Telangana state registered an overall pass percentage of 67, according to results of the Telangana Intermediate First and Second year results of the 2017 General and Vocational exams declared by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on its official website today i.e. Sunday April 16, 2017.

According to a quick analysis of the results declared today, of the total 9.4 lakh students who appearedd for the First and Second year General and Vocational exams together, 67% students managed to clear the examination.

Girls repeated history again in the Telangana Board Intermediate exams. Keeping up the general trend, girls managed to secure a pass percentage of 71% compared to 61% scored by boys.

According to the details, a total of 4,36,727 students had appeared for the first year and 4,64,903 students had appeared for the second year Telangana board Inter General exams in 2017. Number of students who appeared for the Telangana Inter Vocational exam 2017 are 39147 and 35,383 for the first year and second year respectively.

The Pass percentage of girl students who appeared in the Inter first year exam is 63.5% whereas that of boys is 51%. The Pass percent of girls in second year is 67% whereas of the boys is 57%.

The First and Second year Intermediate General and Vocational results both were declared at 10 am on Sunday by Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari at the office of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, Nampally.

  1. Go to the official website: www.bietelangana.cgg.gov.in
  2. Enter 'User ID'
  3. Enter Password
  4. Click on Sign-in button
  5. Results will be displayed on the screen
  6. Take a printout

The Board had conducted the Intermediate exams for the first year between March 1 and March 17. The second year’s exams were held between March 2 and March 19. A total of 9.4 lakh students appeared for the examination at various test centres across the state.

Candidates studying for various courses like MPC, BiPC, HEC, CEC etc. have appeared for the examination across various centres in Telangana.

The candidates were examined in Part I English, Part II Second Language and Part III group subjects for 500 marks in first year, 470 marks for HEG group, 470 marks for MPC Group. The percentage of pass marks in each paper is 35.

A total of 2754 colleges are under the Telangana State Board of Intetmediate Education (TSBIE). The Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh has on April 13 released the results of both first and second year.

The Telangana State Board of Intetmediate Education (TSBIE) has the main objective of regulating and supervising the system of intermediate education. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges and providing direction, support and leadership for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
