UPTET 2017 Results Delayed, Expected in coming week

Though no official confirmation has been publicly issued by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB), it is most likely that the results of the UP Teachers' Eligibility Test (UP TET 2017) will be released in the coming week.

The UP Teachers' Eligibility Test (UP TET 2017) results were supposed to be released on November 30, 2017, according to some media reports. The result declaration has been however delayed by few days.

According to the UP board sources UPTET 2017 results are expected any moment in the coming week. Once declared, the UPTET results will be available online on the board's website. Candidates can follow the steps given as under to check their result.

  3. Enter log in details.
  4. Click on Submit
  5. Result will appear on your screen. Take a printout.

The UPTET was conducted in the state on 15th of October, in two batches. The first batch exam was held from 10:00 am and went on till 12:30 pm. The second batch exam was held from 2:30 pm and went on till 5:00 pm.

The first batch exam was for those candidates who had applied for teacher roles of Class 6 to 8. The second batch exam was for those candidates who had applied for teacher roles of Class 1 to 5.

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) released the Final Answer Key of the UP Teachers' Eligibility Test (UP TET 2017) on November 06. The tentative Answer Key was released on October 17.

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET, conducted as per the NCTE guidelines, is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from classes 1 to 8.

Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those opting for classes 6 to 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
