Kohima (Nagaland): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has declared online the results of Class 12 or Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) regular and vocational examination today on Monday May 08. The Nagaland board HSSLC Class XII results are available on websites and through SMS.
A total of 11,653 students had appeared for the Nagaland HSSLC Class 12 examination of Arts stream. Out of them 9005 cleared the exam taking the pass percentage stood at 77.28. Elozüo M Saprüna with 94.20% from Ministers’ Hill Baptist HSS, Kohima topped the Arts stream.
In Nagalanad HSSLC Commerce stream, 1169 candidates took the examination and 829 of them passed with a pass percentage of 70.92. Rajdeep Nath who secured 95 per cent from Pranab Vidyapith HSS, Dimapur topped the Commerce stream.
In HSSLC Science stream. 2304 students out of 2650 passed the examination with pass percentage of 86.94. Piklu Paul with 94.80 per cent from Pranab Vidyapith HSS, Dimapur topped the Science stream.
The results of Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC or Class XII results 2017 are available for download on its official website nbsenagaland.com.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC or Class 12 results 2017 are also be available on some of the associate websites like IndiaResults and through SMS.

Multiple media reports citing board sources, including IndiaResults - the associate website of state boards to display various exam results, had earlier said the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will declare HSSLC Class 12 results on Monday May 8, 2017.
"The provisional results of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2017 conducted by the NBSE shall be declared in the afternoon of 8th May 2017", said the NBSE Kohima said in a statement released earlier.
The provisional Result Gazettes will be issued to all the registered institutions of the Board. The Results will also be available on the notice board of the Office.
The board has also asked the heads of registered institutions to collect the marksheets and other documents from the afternoon of 8th May to 10th May 2017.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC or Class XII exams were held from February 14 to March 06, 2017.
Last year, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC or Class XII results were declared on 25th May 2016. A total of 14,508 students had appeared for the Nagalnad HSLC exams in 2016. Out of them 10,766 students had passed.
Famously known by its short name i.e. NBSE, the Nagaland Board of School Education is the primary school education board in the state of Nagaland. The board operates under the Nagaland state government and looks after the development and propagation of school education in the state.
The foundation stone of this education board was laid on 15th of November 1973 but it commenced working from 1st October, 1974.
The Nagaland Education board deals with all academic operation for the students enrolled in various schools and educational institutes, conduct exams and declared NBSE result. The organization also conducts and controls all examinational proceedings of HSLC and HSSLC.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSLC Class 10 results are also scheduled to be announced on Monday May 08, 2017.
