FYJC Admission 2018 Mumbai MMR: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra on Tuesday revised the Mumbai MMR FYJC 2018 Admission schedule due to heavy rains that lashed the city since last few days.

Accordingly, the last date of admission for First General Merit List at college level has been extended till July 11:00 up to 05:00 pm.

Likewise, display of vacancy list after round 1 and cut off of the First Merit List which was scheduled to be released today i.e. Monday July 10 will now be released on July 12, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Filling of Part 1 and Part 2 Option form was also scheduled to start today. But, it will now start on July 12 at 11:00 am. Students will be able to fill Part 1 and Part 2 Option Form for Round 2 till July 13 up to 06:00 pm, according to the Mumbai MMR FYJC Admission 2018 Revised Schedule.

The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra will display and publish on its website the 2nd General Merit List on July 16 at 11:00 am.

Admission for Second General Merit List will start on July 16 at 11:00 am and continue till July 18 upto 05:00 pm.

The FYJC Admission process in Mumbai MMR - covering Mumbai City, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali and Palghar, started on June 08 with the filling of Part 1 Option Form. Filling of Part 2 Option Form for FYJC 2018 in six cities including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik and Amravati was done from June 13 to June 18, 2018.

The School Education Department had released the First Merit List of Bifocal Subjects (Round 1 Allocation) on June 21, 2018. The 2nd List was released on Thursday June 28, 2018 and reporting time was upto 05:00 pm.

Students participating in FYJC 2018 Admission Process should note that there will be four Merit Lists. All the Merit Lists will be declared on the basis of the merit, category and the order of preferences of the applicant.

"After the First Round for every next round students will be allowed to change their junior college preferences order or stream according to availability of seats, within the stipulated time given for each round. If any student does not change preferences then preferences given for earlier round will be considered", the Information Booklet says.

"Allocation of each round will be as per merit, category and preferences. All the applications received, shall be considered for online admission process according to the merit category and the order of preferences given by the applicants", it reiterates.
