Sanjibani Debnath tops West Bengal board 10th 2018 exam, 56 students among top ten

West Bengal Board Class 10 Exam 2018: Scoring 689 marks Sanjibani Debnath came first whereas Sirshendu Saha with 688 out of the total 700 marks came 2nd in the Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 or West Bengal board SE 2018 exams result of which is declared today morning.

The WBBSE 2018 3rd rank is shared by Mayurakshi Saha, Nilabja Das and Mrinmoy Mondal who all scored 687 marks. As many as 56 students have found their place in the list of WBBSE 2018 Top 10.

The West Bengal state registered an overall pass percentage of 85.49%.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared online the results of Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 or West Bengal board SE results 2018 at 10:00 am today i.e. Wednesday June 06, 2018.

The WBBSE 10th results 2018 is available on the official website wbresults.nic.in. Students can collect their mark sheets for WB Class 10th from their schools after few days.

  • Enter your roll number and date of birth in the provided space
  • Click on Submit button
  • Take a print out for further reference

The West Bengal Board Secondary Examination SE Class 10 Madhyamik Pariksha 2018 started on March 12 and concluded on March 21, 2018. The West Bengal board had declared the Result of High Madrasah, Alim and Fazil Examination 2018 on June 01, 2018.

In 2017, a total of 9,27,453 had passed the WBBSE Class 10th exam, registering a pass percentage of 85.65. The pass percentage of boys in the 2017 exam was 86.34 whereas that of girls was 79.62. In 2016, a total of 11,43,372 students had appeared for the Madhyamik Pariksha. Of them some 9,27,453 students had passed.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education was established through the West Bengal Secondary Education Act, 1950, though it started functioning only around the year 1951. The board is entrusted with responsibilities such as providing the curriculum for affiliated schools, monitoring the implementation of education policies and conducting yearly West Bengal Board Madhyamik Examination.
