Maharashtra SSC 2018 Results: Maharashtra recorded a pass percentage of 89.41 in 2018 SSC Class 10 Matric exam. This is an improvement by more than 1% as compared to 2017 when the overall pass percentage was 88.74, according to the result released by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) today morning.
As many as 125 students across the nine divisions in Maharashtra have scored 100 per cent marks, meaning they got 600 out of the total 600 marks. This is probably for the first time in the history of Maharashtra board that so many students have scored cent per cent marks. As many as 63,331 students across the state have scored 90 per cent or above.
Schoolwise, more than 4000 schools have recorded 100 percent result, meaning none of their student has failed in the exam. As many as 33 schools from Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Amaravati, Nasik and Latur have got zero pass percentage.
A total of 16,36,250 students had registered for the exams across nine divisions in the state. Out of them 14,56,203 students have passed the Maharashtra SSC 2018 exam. Girls scored a pass percentage of 91.17, and like previous years, performed better than boys who recorded a pass percentage of 87.27.
Among districts, Konkan region topped with 96% while Nagpur is the least scoring district with 85% pass per cent. On the other hand, Mumbai registered a pass percentage of 90.41% while pass percentage of Pune stood at 92.08.
The overall pass percentage of specially-abled students stood at 86.87%. Among the blind candidates, a total of 894 had appeared. Of them, 828 cleared the Maharashtra 10th board exam 2018. Out of the total 1,673 deaf students who appeared for the exam, 1,401 have been declared passed.
A total of 2,445 Ortho candidates wote the Maharashtra 2018 SSC exam. Of them 2,108 have been awarded the Secondary School Certificate SSC pass certifcates.

How to check Maharashtra SSC Result 2018 via SMS
Maharashtra students can also request their results through SMS. For this, they are required to type MHSSC followed by <seat no> on their mobile phones and send to: 57766. The Printed Marksheet will be given to students later on at the respective schools.

It is now expected that the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the detailed schedule of the Maharashtra SSC 2018 result declaration in few days.
The Maharashtra SSC Class 10 results are normally declared in the first week of June. Last year however the results were delayed and were declared on June 13, 2017. The overall pass percentage in 2017 was 88.74. But, in 2016 the Maharashtra Class 10th result was declared on June 06, 2016. Hence it is expected that the 2018 10th Maharashtra result will be declared in between these dates.

Hence unless an official statement is made by the board, students should relax and should not fall prey to rumours.

The Maharashtra board declares the 12th results of all the nine dvisional boards on the same day and at the same time.
