JEE Advanced 2018: 26 students of Rahmani 30 crack the IIT admission test

Patna (Bihar): A total of 26 students who were offered free coaching at different centres in India run by Patna based Rahmani 30 have cracked the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 exam result of which was declared today on Sunday June 10.

About 137 Rahmani 30 students had cleared the JEE Main 2018 to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2018. Of them 126 students appeared for the IIT entrance test. Among them were 23 candidates were from Rahmani 30 Batch 1, 38 were from MSAR30-Hyderabad, 17 were from FR30-Aurangabad, 16 were from R30-Batch-2, 08 students were from R30-Batch-3, 22 students were from Rahmani 30 Senior batch and 02 candidates were from RMB Medical.

"Out of the total 126 students who had appeared in the IIT JEE Advanced 2018, 26 have been declared passed", Fahad Rahmani, the Director of Rahmani 30 Patna, said while talking to

Fahad Rahmani said the result of Rahmani 30 in JEE Adavnced 2018 is disappointing. "But, we are happy that we registered 100% result in NEET 2018. A total of 62 Rahmani 30 students had appeared for NEET 2018 and all of them scored well and became eligible for medical admission", he said.

Launched in 2010 on the pattern of Super 30 by Mohammad Wali Rahmani with the active support of Former Bihar DGP Abhyanand, Rahmani Foundation is running free coaching classes for poor students of the Muslim community. The propgram was first launched in Patna, and later extended to the cities like Aurangabad and Hyderabad.

Result data released by IIT Kanpur showed that Pranav Goyal has topped the JEE Advanced 2018. Pranav obtained 337 marks out of 360 marks to secure All India Rank - AIR 1. Meenal Parakh is the female topper. Her common ranking list in JEE is 6, she has got 318 marks of 360.

On the other hand, All India Rak 2 (AIR 2) is grabbed by Sahil Jain of Kota, Rajasthan. Sahil is also Delhi Zone topper. Delhi's Kailash Gupta secured AIR 3, according to JEE Advanced 2018 result data released today.

Rishi Agarwal (AIR 8) is Mumbai Zone topper, Prashant Kumar (AIR 150) is IIT Guwahati Zone topper, Ayush Kadam (AIR 78) is IIT Kanpur Zone and SC category topper whereas KVR Hemant Kumar Chodipilli (AIR 7) is IIT Kharagpur topper.

Likewise, JEE Main 2018 topper Suraj Krishna has secured AIR 49 in JEE Advanced 2018. Mavuri Siva Krishna Manohar (AIR 5) of Vijaywada, IIT Madras zone is topper of OBC category whereas Jatoth Shiva Tarun of Hyderabad is topper of ST category.

A total of 18,138 out of 155,158 students who had appeared have qualified the JEE Advanced 2018. The total seats on offfer this year are 11,279 - 1.6 times more than the available seats.

A total of 5,072 students have qualified from IIT Delhi zone. This is the maximum number of qualified students among the zones. A total of 3,595 students from IIT Madras zone, 2,936 students from IIT Bombay zone, 2,160 students from IIT Kanpur zone, 1,736 from IIT Kharagpur zone, 1,800 from IIT Roorkee zone and 839 from IIT Guwahati zone, according to the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 result data released today.
