Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared online the results of the High School Class 10 Examination 2018 on its official website today on Wednesday i.e. May 09, 2018 at 10:00 am.
The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 68.60 per cent, the board said after releasing the result.
The Chhattisgarh CGBSE Class 10 Results 2018 are accesible on cgbse.nic.in and other associate websites including cgbse.net, results.cg.nic.in and IndiaResults.com.
How to check Chhattisgarh 10th Result 2018
- Go to the official website: cgbse.nic.in or IndiaResults.com
- Click on the link, 'Class 10 Results 2018'
- Enter your roll number
- After submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
- Take a printout for future use
Students should also note that the board has given them a chance to apply for re-evaluation if they are not satisfied with the declared results. But, this facility will not be available to the students whose score is below 20 or above 80.
The 2018 Chhattisgarh Class 10 exams were held from March 5 to March 28. Compared with the last year, Class 10 result 2018 are delayed by more than two weeks. Earlier, the board had said that it will declared the CGBSE 10th results today on May 09.
Last year the Chhattisgarh Board 10th results were declared on April 20. About 4,42,060 students appeared for the CGBSE Class 10 Exams held across 2000 centers in Chhattisgarh from February 10 to March 2, 2017. The overall pass percentage of the CGBSE Class 10 2017 exam was 61.40%.
In 2016, overall pass percent of CG Board Class 10 was 55.23% and of CG Board Class 12 was 73.43%. A total of 4, 03,762 had appeared for the CG Board Class 10 exam and some 2,77,114 students had written the CG Board Class 12 exam in 2016.
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is responsible for conducting the board exams in the state. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education conducts High School, Higher Secondary Board, Higher Secondary School (Occupational), Physical Training Diploma and D.Ed. certification exams.
CGBSE also advised and help government for the construction of the proposed curriculum and textbooks prescribed by the board. It also advises the government in framing the education policy of the state and it also runs different correspondence courses under its guidance.
