Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has started receiving online application for MHT CET 2019 from Tuesday January 01, 2019.
Candidate who want to appear for MHT CET 2019 should apply (without late fees) before March 23, 2019 and with late fee before March 31, 2019. MAH CET 2019, also known as MHT CET 2019 conducted for Bachelor in Engineering or Technology/Bachelor in Pharmacy, will be held between May 2 to 13, 2019.
This is for the first time MHT CET 2019 will be held in Online Mode i.e Computer Based Test (CBT).
Follow the steps given below to apply for MHT CET 2019.
1. Click here to go to official website: MHT CET 2019 Registration Website. 2. Click on the link marked with "Registration for New Candidates". 3. Read all instructions carefully and click on OK. 4.Select Type of Regisration - Aadhaar on Non Aadhaar. 5.Fill the Personal Information, Contact Information, Reservation, Bank Account details, Education Details and Details required for MHT-CET 2019. 6. Enter and save for future reference an appropriate Password. 7. Enter Security Key. 8. Click on Register button.
Application Fee payable is as follows:
For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates : Rs.800/- + Service Charges Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. : Rs.600/- + Service Charges
For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates : Rs.800/- + Service Charges
Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. : Rs.600/- + Service Charges
Students should note that MHT CET 2019 application fee should be made online through Credit/Debit Card and Net-banking. Students should also note that at the time of transaction, if the amount is debited, they should not try new Application.
"Please wait for 24 hrs and try for the payment once again in the same registered email id. If the amount is not debited, you can try the payment again", the CET cell said.
Candidates should also note that applications sent by Post/Courier etc., will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.
"It should also be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at the stage of registration for CET. However, Candidates are advised to keep the necessary original documents ready for verification at the time of Document verification stage, during Centralized Admission Process (CAP)", the MHT CET 2019 notification said.
All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2019. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2019.
