New Delhi: Amid clamor for re-exam from stakeholders including Delhi Medical Association (DMA), the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) said it is set to declare the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) 2015 results on June 5, 2015.
The candidates who appeared for this year's AIPMT can check their results on the CBSE official website for AIPMT: http://aipmt.nic.in.
The CBSE had conducted the AIPMT on May 3, 2015, and had also released the answer keys.
The exam was marred by the reports that the question paper was leaked before the exam by a gang, allegedly active in different states of the country.
Four people, including two dentists and an MBBS student, were arrested in Haryana for the alleged conspiracy to leak the AIPMT answer sheets.
Following these reports, students, parents and teachers demanded re-exam of the coveted test for admissions to medical and dental courses across universities in the country.
While the CBSE turned down the demand to re-conduct the AIPMT 2015, while hearing a plea on the issue, the Supreme Court too declined to order a re-exam.
The Supreme Court also said that all those who benefited from the leak of the AIPMT question papers had not been identified and if there was a lurking doubt over the integrity of the test then it may address the plea for re-conduct of the examination.
The announcement by the CBSE that it is ready to declare the AIPMT 2015 results should now put to rest the speculations that the the test will be re-conducted.
