Agartala: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is set to declare the results of the class 10 board examination on June 3, according to an official release.
Once declared, the results will be available on the TBSE official website: http://www.tbse.in, http://www.tripuraresults.nic.in and http://www.tripura.nic.in.
To check the results, the students need to go any one of the above websites, click on the link provided for checking the TBSE board class 10 or Madhyamik Pariksha results 2015, enter the required details and then click on submit.
Once the results are displayed online, the students can also download the PDF file of their scroecard and take a printout for future reference.
This year, the Madhyamik Pariksha commenced on March 3 with the language exams, and was concluded on March 28 with the Geography exam. Other than these, the students also appeared for tests on Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Science, History and English/Bengali.
The board was established in 1973, and it began operating in 1976. It was founded for the promotion and development of secondary education in Tripura. It is one of the few boards in the country which use the centralised evaluation system for awarding marks to students.
The board has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Tripura. Its primary function is to prepare academic programmes and organise examinations, especially for state level Class 10 and Class 12.
The main purpose and duties of the board are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of higher school and higher secondary schools in Tripura.
