Andhra Pradesh SSC Open School Society results likely to be declared today at 6 pm

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) is likely to publish online the results of the Class 10 board exams today at 6 pm.

Once declared, the candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results at the official site of the board: http://www.apopenschool.org.

To check APOSS SSC results online the students need to the official website, click on the link provided for checking results, enter the required details and click on the Submit button.

The results will be displayed on the screen. The students can download and print their result for future reference.

The APOSS SSC examination 2015 commenced on April 25 with language papers and concluded on May 5 with the Business Studies and Vocational Practical exams.

Other subjects included Economics, Hindi, Home Science, English, Social Studies, Indian Culture and Heritage, Psychology, Vocational Theory, Mathematics, Science and Technology and Telugu.

The purpose and duties of APOSS are to provide pre-elementary education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to school drop-outs and those missing Upper Primary stage of education and to attain Universalisation of Elementary Education (UEE) in the state. And to provide continuing education for adult neo-literates, working men and women to reinforce their functional literacy and not to allow them to relapse into illiteracy.

The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh conducts the Secondary School Certificate, i.e. Class 10 and Intermediate, i.e. Class 12 examinations every year. It was established in 1991 for the promotion and development of secondary education in Andhra Pradesh. It is the first state open school in the country.
