
Allahabad: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is all set to declare the UP board 2015 Class 10 exam or matric results on Sunday May 17, 2015 at 12:30 p.m., it is officially announced.
When declared, the UP board class 10 results, declared in association with the National Informatics Centre, will be available on http://upresults.nic.in and http://upmspresults.up.nic.in/default.aspx.
Simultaneously, the UP board is also announcing the class 12 or intermediate exam results today. This is the first time when the UP Board will announce both the UP Board HSC Result and UP Class 12th Board Results 2015 on the same date.
Students can check the results, once they are online on May 17 after 12:30 noon, by entering their examination seat number and other necessary information given on the respective fields on the above websites.
The students can also check their results via SMS (short messaging service).
Every student will be provided with their marksheet and pass certificate. The candidates can also apply for a duplicate certificate or an unclaimed certificate.
The Uttar Pradesh Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923.
The Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
The 2015 UP board class 10 exam was conducted in February-March 2015. Around 34, 98,430 students had appeared for the exam also known as Intermediate or inter. Last year, the number was more than 31 lakh - making the board as world's largest.
Last year, the UP Board Class 12 results were declared on May 25, wherein the overall pass percentage had reached 92.21 per cent, showing a marginal drop from previous years. And the Class 10 results of UP Board were declared on May 30, last year.
