Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the examination dates for Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Common Entrance Test (J&K BOPEE CET) 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 21 and May 22.
A candidate who has completed class 12 from a recognised university or institute is eligible to sit in the exam, and an application fee of Rs 800 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration procedure.
The eligible candidates' should apply through the official website, the link for which is jakbopee.org.
J&K BOPEE-CET consists of three papers. While Paper A consists of Physics and Chemistry with 120 questions (60 questions from each subject), Paper B comprises Biology with 60 questions. Paper C is of Mathematics with 60 questions.
The questions will be of multiple choice objective type with one mark each. The candidates must note that there will be negative marking, One-fourth mark will be deducted as a penalty for each wrong answer.
J&K BOPEE-CET is compulsory for admission to various professional programs such as Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and other professional courses in government and private professional institutions of the state for the session 2016.
