Kanpur: Qualities like compassion and kindness are still found in human hearts. It depends how a beholder reacts with a person in trouble. There is of course no dearth of kind-hearted persons at a time when none has time to stand and stare. How can the scooterist forget help of those two gentle persons who helped him in all possible ways so that he could reach his destination? As his scooter developed a technical snag he was seen struggling with difficult situation it was they who rendered their helping hands.
Initially, the very consideration of dragging non-operational scooter up to the house seemed slightly scary to the owner. What was most troublesome for him was the vertical road. In such a situation the vehicle obviously turns too heavier to handle with and in case the repairing centre does not exist around, two options stay behind that is to find out a mechanic and secondly pulling the snag-ridden vehicle to the proper site. As the scooter owner got not-so-experienced mechanic on the way, it was very horrible situation. Those who tried their skills in repairing the motionless scooter proved useless for him ultimately.
It was more than five kilometres to reach the main market where skilled mechanics were available. The scooter owner was not so strong as to carry his technically defective vehicle. Even though he started pulling it and anyhow completed a distance of half-a-kilometre. In covering such a short distance he almost lost his energy and began to breathe heavily which caused him to stop at a wider space with much historical eminence. As he was trying to relax sitting under the shadow of the tree, an old man also turned up there. Looking at the long face of the scooter owner, he tried to learn of the fault in the vehicle. The owner made him aware of faults.
Upon taking note of his agonizing words, the bespectacled old gentleman started suggesting the scooter owner to check the plug and quantity of the petrol in the tank once again but nothing proved fruitful as if the scooter were standing in some sad stance. Afterwards that humble man then encouraged him to drag his silent scooter and move on further without killing the time. Accepting his hint, the wearied-looking scooter man attempted to pull up his weighty vehicle. A little farther he began to pant so it was better for him to stop. But that cooperative old man continued to persuade him to not to stop.
Following a few minutes’ rest genial old man and the scooter owner began their forward journey once more. Walking along the road uniqueness of their company was that the old man was pushing the scooter in order to help him to reach the place speedily. And more so, immense stamina of 73-year old man was worth realising as he told him that as a teacher he used to run bi-cycle as long as seven kilometres daily. At this old age he does not deter from walking on foot. Their company ended as old man’s destination came earlier but what he did for the vehicle owner was a great deed.
Further, ordeal of the scooter man was yet to be over. So, he began to move on and on and sooner came the road that helped the two-wheeler to slide without enough force. Just as the scooter stopped, a young man on his bike came like a magician and started pushing scooter move fastly. It was again a very surprising help for the scooter owner when he did not think of it. Even one of his relative by the name of Kamran appeared on the way but he tried to avoid him. Indeed, it was an exceptional experience for the weary scooter man who got a humane, compassionate, large-hearted and co-operative treatment from those persons who possessed golden hearts.
