RRB NTPC 2016 Result

New Delhi:
The prolonged and painful wait for hundreds of thousands of candidates who appeared for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) 2016 Exam does not seem to end soon as there are conflicting reports appearing in different media groups - all quoting Railway board officials, but none giving any confirmed report about the exact date of result declaration.

It was earlier reported that the results of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) 2016 Exam will be declared on or before October 15 and the second stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for various NTPC (Graduate) categories will begin in November.

Multiple reports however now suggest that the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) 2016 results are still under process and they could be declared by October end or in the first week of November.

The RRB NTPC 1st stage 2016 results will be declared in November and not in October as reported earlier, according to a report by Dainik Bhaskar quoting R K Jain, the Chairman of RRB Ajmer.

The Indian Express however said in its reports that the Railway Recruitment Board will release the NTPC recruitment examination results by the month-end. As per the official sources, the result is under process and is likely “to be declared by the end of October", the report said.

Anil Kumar Saxena, Additional Director General (PR), Railways Board, had earlier said that the NTPC preliminary (1st stage) examination results 2016 would be declared in the first fortnight of October, sparking speculations that it would happen either on October 14 or 15.

Saxena also said that the board will conduct a second stage computer-based test (CBT) for various NTPC (graduate) category in November-December.

"Only those candidates who have cleared the first stage of the exam, which were held between March and May, will be called for the second stage of the exam. The number of candidates called for the second stage will be 15 times the number of vacancies", he added.

The second stage of the exam is likely to have questions about general awareness, mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning. The test will have 120 multiple choice objective questions and candidates will get 90 minutes to solve them.

The Railway Recruitment Board (#RRB) will declare the Non-Technical Popular Category (#NPTC 2016) exam results region-wise, and it will be available online on the respective RRB regional websites.
