UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2017 Admit Card now available for download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Friday made available online the link to download and take printout the e-Admit Card for Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2017 (CDS I 2017 Exam) on its website.

The UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2017 (CDS I 2017 Exam) will be held on February 05, 2017.

The candidates who have registered themselves for the UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2017 can download and take printout of their e-Admit Card till Februaryu 05, 2017.

To download the e-Admit Card for CDS - I 2017, candidates need to log in to the UPSC website by clicking here: www.upsconline.nic.in

"Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately", the Commisison said in a statement.

"Bring this e-Admit Card in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. e-Admit Card may be preserved till the declaration of written result as its production before Service Selection Boards is necessary", the Commission added.

"You are responsible for safe custody of the e-Admit Card and in the event of any other person using this e-Admit Card , the onus lies on you to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator", the Commission said.

"Enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination", the UPSC said.

"Candidates should note that any omission / mistake / discrepancy in encoding filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection", the UPSC said.

Mobile Phones, Calculators or any of the IT Gadgets are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any Infringements of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

The UPSC Conducts Combined Defence Exam every year. After qualifying the CDS exam, the candidates get admission to (i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai (v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 19th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April 2017.
