Raipur: The results of Class 12 and Class 10 board examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) in 2018 are delayed. However they are most likely to be declared by the end of this week - most probably in the next 3-4-days, though some reports said they could be declared only in the first week of May.
The 2018 Chhattisgarh Class 10 exams were held from March 5 to March 28 whereas the Class 12 board the exams started on March 7 and concluded on April 2. Compared with the last year, Class 10 and Class 12 examinations 2018 both were delayed by about a month.
The 2017 CG Board Class 12 exam was held from February 14 to March 09, 2017. More than 2.7 lakh students had appeared for the important exam. About 4,42,060 students appeared for the CGBSE Class 10 Exams held across 2000 centers in Chhattisgarh from February 10 to March 2, 2017. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) Class 10 result was declared on April 21 whereas CGBSE Class 12 result 2017 was declared on April 28 in 2017.
Sources said the 2018 CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results are delayed because the exams started late and hence paper assessment started late resulting in the delay in result declaration. The board however has not officially declared any date so far about the actual date of CGBSE 2018 result declaration.
However, some of the partner websites of the board result have claimed that the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will declare the CGBSE Class 10 and Class result 2018 in the first week of May. Some other media reports have said that the CG board result could be declared in the next few days.
Once declared, the CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results 2018 will be available on results.cg.nic.in and also on the board’s official website cgbse.nic.in.
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is responsible for conducting the board exams in the state. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education conducts High School, Higher Secondary Board, Higher Secondary School (Occupational), Physical Training Diploma and D.Ed. certificate exams.
CGBSE also advised and help government for the construction of the proposed curriculum and textbooks prescribed by the board. It also advises the government in framing the education policy of the state and it also runs different correspondence courses under its guidance.
