Mumbai: Virtually cancelling the result of RRB Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) Computer Based Test (CBT) declared on November 02, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Monday said it will review Answer Keys and publish revised scores and list of candidates shortlisted for RRB CEN 01/2018 2nd Stage exam.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) also postponed the RRB ALP and Technician second stage exam by about two weeks. The RRB ALP and Technician Second Stage exam was supposed to start from December 12 to December 14, 2018. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has however, after representation from stakeholders, said the RRB 2nd Stage CBT will now start on December 24, 2018.
Explaining the reasons behind its decision to review RRB ALP Answer Keys, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) said, "RRBs have received certain representations from the candidates raising issues on Answer Keys and translation in few of the questions. In response, RRBs have decided to examine all such issues afresh", the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) said in its latest notification.
"After this review, Final Keys along with the revised scores will be published again. The revised list of shortlised candidates will also be published on the websites of RRBs (RRB Regional boards) for the information of all the candidates", it added.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) further said that various RRB Regional boards have received representations requesting postponement of 2nd Stage CBT on account of clashing of dates with the CBT for CEN 02/2018 Group D and/or academic examinations.
"In view of the above, the 2nd stage RRB ALP and Techncian CBT scheduled earlier from 12th December is postponed and shall now start from 24th December 2018", the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) said.
All other dates, including Admit Card (e-Call Letter) Download schedule have also been changed.
Based on the RRB ALP Result announced on November 02, the Ministry of Railways had earlier said that a total of 5,88,605 out of more than 36 lakh candidates who had appeared for the RRB Group C CEN 01/2018 Assistant Loco Pilots and Technician Computer Based Test (CBT) have qualified for RRB 2nd stage CBT.
The first stage RRB Group C CEN 01/2018 Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Computer Based Test (CBT) was held from 09th August, 2018 to 04th September, 2018, in which a total of 36,47,541 candidates had appeared.
The candidates can download their 2nd Stage RRB examination city intimation 10 days prior to the actual day of the examination.
"E-call letter for RRB 2nd Stage ALP and Technician will be available four days prior to the examination date. Candidates will be informed to download their E-call letter through SMS, e-mail and also notice on the website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)", the ministry said.
The RRB CEN 01/2018 Group C ALP, Technician results and details of shortlisted candidates are available on all RRB regional boards's website. Candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Tests and indicated the RRB of their choice can view their individual score by logging in through the link provided in the official website of the RRB they have opted for. The candidates can also access the Master Question Paper of their shift of examination along with the final key of the answers. The cut-off marks for all the notified posts are also available on the website.
