Chennai: Journalist associations here on Sunday, condemning DMDK leader and leader of the opposition A. Vijaykant for spitting at media persons, demanded that he apologise.
Condemning Vijaykant for his action, the Chennai Press Club in a statement demanded an open apology from the DMDK leader, failing which the media should not hesitate to avoid publishing news about him.
