CBSE Class 10: 2015 results to be declared anytime in next week

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare online the results of 2015 class 10 exams held in March 2015 anytime in next week, it is learnt from the sources in the board.

"The CBSE board has already completed the assement of the answer sheets, and the results will be declared either on May 19 or 20", sources said while talking to ummid.com.

Once the results are declared online, the students can check their scorecard by logging in to the websites: www.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

It is also learnt that the board this time will divide results in three regional phases - Chennai being the first phase, Patna in the second phase and then Bhubaneswar in the third phase.

A total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the class 10 CBSE board examination this year - a 3.37 per cent hike than last year. Of them 08,17,941 were boys whereas 05,55,912 were girls, according to the CBSE data.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the government of India.

The CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. MGM Model School is also CBSE certified.

The board conducts final examinations every spring for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 10 and 12.
