Patna: Under attack for his reported statement that 'Hindus too eat beef' RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday in a scathing attack on the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) called its leaders 'Dog Rearers" who should refrain from giving lessons to him - a 'Cow Rearer'.
At the same time, Lalu Yadav, the widely respected secular leader known for his anti-communal stand, warned Muslims to be vigilant becuase, according to him, the BJP may conspire to stage riots during the festive season.
"Those rearing dogs should not teach the cow rearers... In BJP people's houses it's not cow but dog is tied and it's written outside the house 'beware of dogs'," Prasad said in a tweet.
Claiming his cowsheds had 100-500 cows any day, Lalu Prasad Yadav said, "These hypocrites who are talking about 'gau mata' should be asked as to how many of them own cow shelter?"
"We have a glorious history of rearing cows since the days of our ancestors," he added.
"These people of rumour party seeing a sure defeat have no agenda and that's why they have fallen on their tested communal agenda," the RJD supremo said hitting out at BJP leaders.
Launching a blistering attack at BJP President Amit Shah, he asked him "where is the developmental agenda of BJP?"
Calling Shah as "Jumla babu", he said people of Bihar were well aware of your "tucha kartoot (mean activities).
"He has sold party tickets after accepting huge amounts", he alleged.
