New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Friday made active the link to download the e-Admit Cards for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2016 on its official website.
According to the information available on UPSC website, the candidates who have applied for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2016 can download their electronic admit cards tille August 07, 2016 i.e. till the day of exam but before it begins.
The UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2016 i.e. IAS prelims examination is scheduled to take place on August 7, 2016 and Main examination will be held on December 03, 2016.
The e Admit card is a compulsoy document for candidates, and they must carry their e-Admit Card at the exam centre else they might not be allowed to appear for the test.
To download the e-Admit Card, candidates need to click here: www.upsconline.nic.in. Clicking on this link will take you to the instruction page. Read the instruction carefully, take a print out and then click on Yes button.
This will take you to the another page. Now click on either "By Registration Id" or "By Roll Number" - any one of the option. On the next page, enter your Registration ID, Date of Birth in the desired format, enter the code and click on 'Submit' button.
Your e-Admit Card (Hall Ticket) should now appear on your screen. If all the information are correct, take print out of the e-Admit Card (Hall Ticket) for future reference. If there is any discrepancy contact the commission immediately.
