New Delhi: India’s oldest Muslim organization, Markazi Jama’iyyat-e-Ahl-e-Hadeeth Hind has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its 33rd National Conference to be held in New Delhi on March 12 and 13, 2016, Jaai'yyat Genersal Secrertary Asghar Ali Imam Mehdi said on Tuesday.
“Along with other dignitaries, we have also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the conference", Asghar Ali Imam Mehdi said.
"We had also invited him for our earlier conference when he was chief minister of Gujarat. He even sent message for the conference,” he added.
He however, said that the Jama'iyyat is yet to receive a response from the Prime Minister Office.
Titled as “The Role and Privileges of Imams and Preachers (khutabba’) in Development of Humanity and Formation of a Peaceful Society”, the conference will be held on 12-13 March, at Ramlila Ground in New Delhi.
