Uttar Pradesh board Inter Class 12 results likely to be declared today

The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh is likely to declare the Intermiedate or Class 12 result 2016 today i.e. Sunday May 15, multiple reports said.

"The results of Uttar Pradesh board Class 12 i.e. Intermediate exam is likely to be declared today at around 12:30 pm", reports quoting unnamed board sources said.

While based on the media reports it is likely that the results will be declared today afternoon, students should take a note of the fact that the board in itself has not confirmed the date and time. Therefore the result declarartion might be postponed and delayed.

The board website on the other hand say on its website: "Results for the Exams conducted in 2016 have not been announced so far...

If declared, the results will be available on official website of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh.

In order to check the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on the suitable link. After clicking it, the candidates are required to enter the necessary details. On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are advised to take a printout for future use.

A total of 68,21,869 students, including 37,49,977 from high school and 30,71,892 from intermediate took the exam.

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.

The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.

At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
