Israeli aggression

New York:
Saudi Arabia and the Arab Group at the United Nations have expressed their eagerness to the concerned authorities in the international organization to brief the world on the reality of the suffering of the Palestinian people and stop the deception and fabrication of facts perpetrated by the Israeli occupation campaign, SPA reported.

This came in Saudi Arabia's statement, presented on behalf of the Arab Group, before the Fourth Committee at the 53rd plenary meeting of the 71st session of the UN General Gssembly.

Saudi Arabia's Permanent Mission to the United Nations Abdullah Al-Otaibi before the Second Committee at its 71st session on item 65 (Permanent sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and of the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan over their natural resources) at the United Nations on Wednesday.

Al-Otaibi said that the UN reported a large number of explicit violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people through the establishment of the "Apartheid Wall", the continuation of building settlements and the excessive use of force, in addition to the demolition of homes and washing away of agricultural land.

Israeli occupying authorities have adopted policies that restrict the movement of Palestinians to gain access to health, education, employment, markets and natural resources and services, particularly in the Gaza Strip, Al-Otaibi added in his speech.

He stressed that the Kingdom's position was and still a supporter of Palestinian rights since the start of the Israeli occupation of the rest of historic Palestine in 1967, including Jerusalem.
