Aurangabad: The four-day Aurangabad International Film Festival (AIFF) will be organised by the Nath Group of Industries in association with Prozone Mall here from February 3.
The four-day event will be held at Satyam Cineplex at the premises of Prozone Mall with screening of 30 films in various Indian languages. The festival aims to provide knowledge of rich culture to the new generation, according to UNI.
According to the organiser Satish Kagliwal of Nath Group, renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah will inaugurate the festival on February 3.
Apart from national and international films, the festival will also host short film competition and a lecture series on awareness about watching films.
International films from Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, Serbia, Crotia, Chile, Argentina, Israel, France, Bosnia and Guatemala will be screened in the festival, he said.
"The Turkish film 'Rauf' will be the opening film of the festival. Abhijit Deshpande and Amol Udgirkar will deliver lectures on film viewing. A book authored by Vijay Padalkar will be released during the event," Kagliwal added.
