Nashik:
The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra is set to release online the Third Merit List (3rd Merit List) of the students (Third Round of Centralised Admission also called as Round 3 Allocation) of Nashik Region, who have registered for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC), today i.e. Saturday July 29, 2017 by 05:00 pm.

"Display of Third Merit List (Round 3 Allocation) of Centralised Admission will be done on Saturday July 29, 2017 by 05:00 pm", Nashik education department said.

"Admission based on the Third Merit List should be confirmed and full payment should be paid between July 31 to August 01, 2017 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm", it said.

"Display of Vacant Seats and Cut Off Marks after Third Merit List (Round 3 Allocation) will be done on August 02 at 05:00 pm", it added.

Students should note that though the education department has fixed 05:00 pm as the time to release the FYJC Admission 2017 Third Merit List, a delay of few hours is possible.

This is also expected because the FYJC First Merit List was released after a delay of one whole day though the Second Merit List was released on the same day.

This time however the educaion department says the FYJC Third Merit List will be in time and smooth after the technical issues and delay in admission process were raised in the state assembly bt some MLAs.

If a student wants to change options and stream for Fourth Merit List (Round 4 Allocation), she or he can do that between August 03-04 up to 05:00 pm.

The released FYJC Admission schedule further says that the 4th Merit List (Round 4 Allocation) will be on August 06, admission confirmation after 4th Round to be done between August 7-8, and the Academic year 2017-18 will begin from August 09, 2017.

The FYJC Admission authorities under the School Education and Sports Department had earlier announced that it will conduct four rounds of admission process once every week between June 15 to July 15, 2017.

If seats remain vacant, three additional rounds of admission will be held once every two weeks up to September 1.

A ‘zero round’ will be conducted for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Around 30% seats in online admissions will be reserved for girl students from poor backgrounds.

The FYJC online admission process in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur regions started after the 2017 SSC results were declared in June second week.

The entire admission process for Nashik students will be done through the special portal launched for the purpose, the direct link of which is nashik.11thadmission.net.

Separate FYJC admission portals have also been launched for the students in Mumbai MMR, Amravati, Aurangabad, Pune and Nagpur regions. The FYJC 2017 Third Merit List of these regions is also released today.
