New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released online the Question Papers of JEE Main 2018 on its official website. The JEE Main 2018 Question Papers of all sets, and of morning and afternoon both the shifts are now available for download on JEE Main website.
How to download JEE Main 2018 Question Paper
- Go To JEE Main Website
- Click on Question Papers 2018 on the left side bottom of the home page
- Click to select the set or shift you require
- Save the Question paper downloaded in PDF for future use
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Question Papers 2018 a day after releasing online the Official Answer Key and candidates' response (OMR) sheets of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2018 (JEE Main 2018).
Students should note that the CBSE has added two special links on the JEE Main website homepage - one is to download JEE Main 2018 Answer Keys and the other is for downloading OMR Sheets. One link is marked with View/Challenge - Answer Key of Paper 1 and the other is marked with View/Challenge Recorded Response of Paper 1.
The JEE Main 2018 official Answer Key and OMR Sheet of JEE Main 2018 will be accessible at http://jeemain.nic.in. Candidates can follow simple instructions given below to download JEE Main Official Answer Key and OMR sheets.
- Go to JEE Main website: jeemain.nic.in
- Search for a bar with a title Answer Key and OMR Sheet on the home page itself
- Select appropriate option, fill the details to log in
- Download the Answer Key/OMR Sheet ormally in PDF
The CBSE had in the JEE Main Information Bulletin had said that the JEE Main 2018 official Answer Key and OMR sheet will be released for download on April 24. In case of any error or objection, candidates can challenge the Answer Keys on or before April 27.
"The scanned images of OMR sheets and recorded responses of the candidates appeared in Paper-1 JEE (Main) 2018 will be displayed on the website during 24-27 April 2018. The Answer Keys of both online and offline examination of Paper-1 will also be displayed during 24-27 April 2017. The candidates not satisfied with recorded responses and answer keys may challenge them to the CBSE", the CBSE said in the Information Bulletin.
JEE Main Answer Key challenge procedure
Candidates should note that the challenge of the recorded responses of OMR Sheets and Answer Keys will be accepted online only, through the link available on the website of JEE (Main) www.jeemain.nic.in latest by April 27, 2018 upto 11.59 PM.
If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if the recorded response is not the same as marked by the candidate on OMR sheet, the correction will be done and the fee will be refunded. In case, any registered candidate does not submit the challenge by the prescribed date and time, it will be presumed that his/her recorded response is the same as marked on OMR sheet.
Similarly, if the challenge of Answer Key is accepted by the board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the Answer Key, a policy decision will be notified on the website and the fee shall be refunded.
"The CBSE’s decision on the challenges in both the cases shall be final and no further communication will be entertained", the statement said. The candidates should also note that the Answer Keys being circulated on various websites are not official and they have nothing to do with the CBSE.
The Information Bulletin also shows that the results and score of JEE Main Paper 1 and All India Rank (AIR) of top 22,000 candidates eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced will be declared on April 30, 2018. The CBSE will however declare the All India Rank (AIR) of JEE (Main) Paper – 2 on May 31, 2018.
A total of 10,43,739 students appeared for JEE Main 2108 held on Sunday April 08 at 1621 exam centers in 112 cities, including 08 in abroad. Reacting on Twitter, most of the students had said JEE Main this year was tough, though some termed the exam of medium difficulty level. JEE Main held on April 08 was pen and paper based and in offline mode. The JEE Main 2018 online mode was held on April 15 and 16, 2018.
