
Makkah/Madinah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched a program titled 'A Holy Qur'an version for every pilgrim.' This is part of the sixth edition of the campaign with the theme of "Serving pilgrims and visitors is our pride."
Saudi Press Agency had earlier reported that King Fahd’s Qur'an Printing Complex, located in Madinah, will be distributing 1,383,610 copies of the Qur'an and its translations as a gift from King Salman to the pilgrims immediately after their completion of the Haj rituals.
The copies of Qur'an gift will be distributed starting from August 23rd until the 30th of August, to the pilgrims departing through airports in Jeddah, Madinah, and the seven other main ports of land, sea, and air.
It is also worth mentioning that the King Fahd Printing Complex had distributed a total of 389,186 copies of the Hajj rituals to pilgrims who arrived at the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, starting from last month until August 14.
The General Presidency is exerting all efforts to help pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals with ease, tranquility, and comfort.
The number of pilgrims reached 2,368,873 as of Monday 5 a.m.
