New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited applications through RRB Regional websites from eligible candidates to fill a total of 13,034 Junior Engineer (RRB JE) posts. The online application is scheduled to begin on January 02, 2019 and the last date of application is January 31, 2019.
According to RRB JE Recruitment 2018-19 Notification, eligible candidates are needed to apply online through the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Regional websites a list of which is given below.
Along with RRB JE posts, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has also asked for applications to fill Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [49 posts], Depot Material Superintendent [456 posts] and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant [494 posts]. It means a total of 14,033 RRB posts will be filled for which applications will start on January 02, 2019, the RRB JE Recruitment 2019 notification says.
Candidates should note that the RRB JE Application Last date is January 31, 2019 but, fees can be paid online till February 4 and 5, 2019. Final submission of application date is February 07, 2019.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) says it will announce the RRB JE 2019 Exam date and Admit Card release date later on.
The age limit to apply for RRB JE and other posts is minimum 18 and maximum 33 years as on January 01, 2019. Age relaxation of 05 years for SC candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Educational qualification and eligibility for RRB JE is Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline, for Junior Engineer (Information Technology) is PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/BCA/B.Tech. (Information Technology)/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/DOEACC 'B' Level Course of three years duration.
For the posts of Depot Material Superintendent, the required qualification is Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline, and for the posts Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant eligibility is Bachelors Degree in Science with Pysics and Chemistry with minimum 45 per cent marks.
