Mumbai: Two women and three engineers are among 20 toppers who have scored 100 percentile in CAT 2017 (Common Admission Test) held in November result of which were declared today.
Similar to last year, 20 candidates have scored 100 percentile in CAT this year, however, the profiles of these candidates were different this year as compared to CAT 2016.
In a trend shift, two women and three engineers are among the top scorers this year. In 2016, all 20 candidates who scored 100 percentile were men and engineers.
The link of the CAT 2017 result is avaliable on the CAT website, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection have been made available on the website of the respective IIMs.
CAT 2017 score is valid only till December 31, 2018 and will accordingly be accessible on the website.

Performance in CAT 2017 examination is an important component for consideration in the selection process. IIMs may also use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in shortlisting of candidates at various stages of the selection process.

A total of around 1,99,600 candidates appeared for the exam for which 2,31,067 students had registered. The CAT was conducted on Sunday November 26 in 381 test centres spread across 140 cities in India.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) had on December 07 released online the Question Paper and Objection Form for CAT 2017 (Common Admission Test) on its official website.
Candidates were also given a provision to challenge the Answer Keys after paying the stipulated fee.
Later on, it was informed that the objections received against CAT 2017 questions were carefully examined by the expert panels of IIMs. There is no change in the answer key of any question subsequent to this.
Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 is the compulsory test for MBA admissions in 19 IIMs and 150 other institutes of the country.
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) roundAll the selected candidates will get admission in around 20 IIM institutes established in various parts of the nation.
