FYJC Admission 2018 Nashik: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra is set to release on its website today i.e. Thursday July 19, 2018 the Second General Merit List (2nd Merit List) of Nashik Region students who are seeking admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC).

The Second General Merit List was scheduled to be released on July 16. However, following the Nagpur High Court order, it was postponed to July 19. The School Education and Sports Department will release the FYJC Second Merit List today at 11:00 am.

"The School Education Department will release the Second General Merit List on July 19 2018 at 11:00 am", Mumbai MMR Education Department said adding, "Admission based on 2nd General Merit List should be done between July 19 to July 21, 2018 up to 05:00 pm."

The School Education Department will publish the Vacancy Position and Cut Off after Second Merit List (Second Round of Admission) on July 23, 2018 at 11:00 am. The Third general Merit List will be release on July 26, 2018, according to the revised schedule of FYJC Admission 2018.

The FYJC Admission process in Nashik Region - covering Nashik City, Deolali, Igatpuri and other nearby areas, started on June 08 with the filling of Part 1 Option Form. Filling of Part 2 Option Form for FYJC 2018 in six cities including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik and Amravati was done from June 13 to June 18, 2018.

The Department had however revised the FYJC 2018 Admission schedule in all six cities due to heavy rains in Mumbai and Nagpur.

The School Education Department had released the First Merit List of Bifocal Subjects (Round 1 Allocation) of all six cities on June 21, 2018. The 2nd List was released on Thursday June 28, 2018 and reporting time was upto 05:00 pm.

Students participating in FYJC 2018 Admission Process should note that there will be four Merit Lists. All the Merit Lists will be declared on the basis of the merit, category and the order of preferences of the applicant.

"After the First Round for every next round students will be allowed to change their junior college preferences order or stream according to availability of seats, within the stipulated time given for each round. If any student does not change preferences then preferences given for earlier round will be considered", the Information Booklet says.

"Allocation of each round will be as per merit, category and preferences. All the applications received, shall be considered for online admission process according to the merit category and the order of preferences given by the applicants", it reiterates.
