New Delhi: Crossing all the limits of humanity and basic etiquette, a number of Twitter users, who described themselves as fans and supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday posted hateful messages against Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The Twitter users are angry over Sushma Swaraj for initiating action against an official who humiliated and refused to issue passports to an interfaith couple. The fans of Modi however abused the minister for her swift action, and mocked even her illness while posting hateful and abusive tweets.
"Biased decision #ISupportVikasMishra shame on you mam...is it effect of your islamic kidney(sic)??" Indra Bajpai who uses Twitter handler @bajpai_indra wrote.

Sushma took it on the chin and retweeted the above tweet saying, "I was out of India from 17th to 23rd June 2018. I do not know what happened in my absence. However, I am honoured with some tweets. I am sharing them with you. So I have liked them."
Sushma Swaraj underwent kidney transplant few months ago. No body knows who donated kidney for her.
"In an failed attempt to appease Muslims you are asking govt officials to bend rules for them..??? Shame on @SushmaSwaraj and @BJP4India and shame on us for trusting you as HinduRakshaks", Bhanu Pratap Jain wrote @bhanu828.
There are a number of other Tweets that cannot be reproduced here because of the abusive language the trolls have used to vent their ire against Sushma Swaraj.
Passport Seva Kendra Lucknow official Vikas Mishra was transferred after the inter-faith couple alleged that he humiliated them when they went to the office with their passport applications. According to the couple, he asked the husband to convert to Hinduism and pulled up the wife for marrying a Muslim.
The trolls attacked Swaraj and the ministry for taking action against Mishra, claiming that he was just doing his duty.
Meanwhile, Mishra in his defence had said that he was secular and had told the woman that her 'nikahnama' showed her name as Shazia Anas, which should be endorsed in her file, according to PTI.
"For this she refused. If she had consented, we would have sent it to the 'A' section for data modification. We have to see which person is taking the passport in what name. There is documentary proof, how can we ignore that. I am secular and I have myself had an inter-caste marriage," he told the media.
