
DME Tamil Nadu Medical Admission 2018: The Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) has released online today i.e. Thursday June 28, 2018 the Provisional Rank List for MBBS/BDS Govternment and Management Quota of the students who have applied for admission to First Year MBBS/BDS courses for 2018-19.

- Click on 'Provisional rank list for MBBS BDS Management Quota 2018 2019 session' Or 'Provisional rank list for MBBS BDS government Quota 2018 2019' in the Notification area on Home Page based on your choice
- The DME TN Medical Rank List 2018 should get opened in PDF format.
- Download the compressed file in ZIP form and unZip if it is compressed
The Rank List can also be accessed on www.tnmedicalselection.org.
"The Rank list will be drawn based on marks obtained in NEET UG 2018 conducted by National Board of Examination. Candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS Course from the said rank list only. Candidates will be called for counselling according to their rank", DME Tamil Nadu said.
The Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) issued the admission notification on June 10, 2018. Consequently, it started admission procedure from June 11. The last date for receipt of filled in application was fixed as June 19, 2018.
The tentative dates of counselling according to the Tamil Nadu Medical Admission 2018 schedule for first phase is July 07 to July 10, 2018, and for the second phase is from July 22 to July 24, 2018. "Schedule will be hosted on the website after the completion of 2nd Round of All India NEET Counselling", DTE Tamil Nadu said.
It should be noted that a Candidate who is absent during the 1st phase of counselling will not be permitted to attend the subsequent phase of Counselling. The candidate will forfeit his/her right to admission and their name will not be considered. However, he/she can authorize his / her parent on his/her behalf and the parent’s decision will be binding on the candidate. An authorization letter (prescribed as in Annexure) given by the candidate should be submitted by the parents. Parents shall produce a photo identity of any one: Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card / Passport.
"Due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, if a candidate/his/her parent could not attend the Counselling on the specified date and time, the candidate can be permitted to attend the counsellling on the subsequent date and he/she can only opt for the seats available at the time of counselling and cannot claim seat as per his/her rank", DME Tamil Nadu said.
