New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Accountancy question paper was leaked and widely circulated among the student before the exam. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Manish Sisodia also confirmed the leak.
Sisodia also asked the Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with the The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
"Received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with CBSE. Swift action must be taken, so that hard-working students don't suffer due to negligence of CBSE", Manish Sisodia said in a Tweet.

The leaked copies of the paper were circulated on WhatsApp on Thursday morning. The same set of paper was received by the minister and was cross-checked. Following which he issued the statement.
The CBSE Class 12 exam began on March 05. The Accountancy paper was scheduled for today i.e. Thursday March 15. It was however allegedly leaked and circulated on social media hours before the exam. The exam will end on April 13 with Physical Examination.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was founded on November 3, 1962. It's headquartered at Preet Vihar, New Delhi. CBSE regulates and supervises the development of education in the country. The primary function of the CBSE includes preparing academic programmes and organising examinations, especially for Class 10 and Class 12 students. CBSE was established in 1962. The CBSE had earlier announced various measures to check paper leaks and cheating in the exam.
