SEBA AHM 2018 Toppers

Guwahati: Sabiha Sabnam - a girl student of Pachim Mangaldoi High Madrassa in Darrang, has secured a place among the toppers of the SEBA Assam Madrassa Examination AHM 2018 result of which was declared today.

Sabiha Sabnam of Pachim Mangaldoi High Madrassa scored 549 out of the total 600 marks in the SEBA AHM 2018 exam and secured the 3rd position in the state.

According to the result declared by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) today on Friday, Md. Mizanur Rahman of Kamandanga High Madrassa in Dhubri scoted 556 marks and topped the Assam Madrassa Examination 2018. Nazmul Huda of Chapar Madrassa HS School Dhubri came 2nd with 555 marks.

A total of 9,343 students had appeared for the SEBA AHM exam 2018. Of them 4,604 have passed. Distinction has been obtained by 25 students. A total of 831 students got first division, 2,489 second division and 1284 students have got the third division, according to the Assam Madrasa Board exam 2018 result declared today.

On the ither habd in SEBA HSLC 2018 exams too, Sultana Ayishah Siddique, a Muslim girl student, is among the state board toppers. The SEBA HSLC result 2018 was also declared today. Sultana Ayishah Siddique scored 591 marks out of the total 600 marks and shared the 3rd rank in the state with Jintee Devi, and Arbi Chaliha, according to the result declared by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) on Friday.

Raktim Bhuyan who bagged 593 marks topped the SEBA HSLC/AHM Class X 2018 Exams whereas Abinash Kalita and Preetpal Bezbaruah came 2nd. Both of them have scored 592 marks.

The overall pass percentage of SEBA 10th 2018 exam is 54.46%. A total of 1,75,976 students had appeared for the exam. Of them 95,813 have passed. The board says some 31,562 students have got the first division, 41,195 second division and a total of 22,956 students have got third division.

In 2017, Nurul Hoque Ali of Raghunath Choudhury of HS School Mukalmua was among the SEBA Class 10th HSCL/AHM toppers.

Earlier, in a signed statement issued on Wednesday, SEBA Secretary Probin Sarma said the Assam board Class 10 HSLC AHM results will be available on results.sebaonline.org, resultsassam.nic.in, examresults.net, exametc.com, indiaresults.com, assamonline.in, results.siksha, knowyourresult.com, assamresult.in.

The board secretary further said that the students wil be able to collect their mark sheets from the respective schools from 11 am on Fridat itself. This year, around 3,56,707 students had registered for the examination that was conducted from February 16 to March 8, 2018 at various centres across the state of Assam.

In 2017, HSLC AHM result was declared on May 31. A total of 3.91 lakh students had appeared for the 2017 HSLC Class 10th examination, of them 47.94% cleared the examination successfully, the lowest in 15 years.

The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 (Assam Act, XXV of 1961) was passed to provide for the establishment of a Board of Secondary Education to regulate, supervise and develop Secondary Education in the State of Assam.

Meanwhile, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will declare the Assam board Class 12th result on May 31, 2018.
