Balmer: The question paper of Hindi language of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) 2018 exam conducted for recruiting government teachers surfaced on social media Thursday, creating a flutter among the aspirants.
The district administration, however, denied that this amounted to a leak as the test was about to end when the paper was uploaded on social media, news agency PTI said.
"The paper was scheduled from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The administration received the information about the paper being available on social media at 11:16 am. So it cannot be considered a case of paper leak", Barmer District Collector Shivprasad Nakate said.
Shivprasad Nakate's statement came after the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) sought a report from the district administration after the Hindi paper was seen on social media.
Nakate further said that the question papers were opened at all centres at the same time and the entire procedure was video recorded.
"There was no student with any Bluetooth or other cheating device as they entered after intensive checking. Someone is just trying to create nuisance and panic", he said.
Nakate said the probe report has been submitted to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). "A further action will be taken only by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC)", he said.
Meanwhile, in Jaipur some candidates created a ruckus after the Hindi paper alleging that a girl student was involoved in cheating with the help of Mukesh Kumar, a Vikshak. Candidates had alleged that soon after the exam began, Kumar provided the girl student a copy of the solved paper. A further probe in the allegation is underway.
