IGNOU embraces Russian language

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched an on-campus six month certificate programme in Russian language.

It aims to cater to those curious to acquire basic communication skills in Russian, an official said Monday.

"Anyone who is 18 years of age and above with 10th Class level of English proficiency are qualified for admission," the official said.

"Each session will be of two-three hours a day. The admission fee for the programme is Rs.2,500. There are 30 seats. The last date for applying for the programme is July 29," the official added.
