Panaji: Activities of
the Sri Rama Sene (SRS) should be monitored and the outfit should
be deterred from setting up base in Goa, a Congress leader said
Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, Congress state working president Francisco
Sardinha said: "We should be careful about the Ram Sene. Their
movements and action should be monitored.
"The country does not belong to any one religion. We should come
down heavily on people who are anti-national and who are out to
destroy the peace of the country," he said.
SRS convenor Pramod Muthalik last week said the outfit would start
a Goa unit soon.
