Lucknow: The Lucknow
bench of the Allahabad High Court has sought details from the
union and the state governments of the medical reimbursement
facilities provided to cabinet ministers and IAS officials.
The directive came from the bench of Justice Uma Nath Singh and
Justice V.K. Dixit Wednesday on a petition by the Association of
Retired Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts filed by
retired high court judge A.K. Srivastava.
The petition said that retired judges and their family members
should be provided medical facilities on the lines of that for
cabinet ministers and top bureaucrats.
