2013 Maharashtra SSC results declared today at 01.00 afternoon

The stage is set today at the Maharashtra Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune for the online declaration of the 2013 SSC exam results at 01:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

About 1.7 million students from more than 20,000 schools in the 36 districts of the state had appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (class 10) or SSC exams held in February/March this year.

The results will be available on the board website and four other websites at the given time (01:00 p.m. in the afternoon). To distribute the load, the board has decided to put the online SSC results on five different websites. They are:

Sarjerao Jadhav, Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education said it is the first time the SSC results are declared so early. Last year the results were declared on June 13.

The students need to enter their exam seat numbers to see their results. The students will also be able to take the printout from the website.

The Printed Marksheet will be given to students on June 15 at 03:00 in the afternoon at their respective schools.

The students can also request their results through SMS. For this, they are required to type MHSSC followed by <seat no> on their mobile phones and send to: 57766.

Those who wish to apply for rechecking and revaluation of their marks must apply for it by June 25 by attaching a true copy of their marksheets.

In all, 17,40,290 candidates from across 20,507 schools had appeared for the examination. The exam was held at 3,812 centres.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune came into existence on 1st January, 1966, as per the Maharashtra Act No.XLI of 1965 (called as Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965) to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the State of Maharashtra.

The Maharashtra State Secondary & Higher Secondary Board had earlier declared the HSC or Class 12 results on May 30.

The MH-CET and NEET 2013 results were declared on June 05.
