Tehelka chief Tejpal denied more time, may be arrested: Goa Police

Panaji: Tehelka founder-editor Tarun Tejpal's request for two more days' time to appear before Goa Police has been rejected and he could be arrested, a police officer here said Thursday.
"The IO (investigating officer) has not accepted the request for extension. She is proceeding as per law," said Deputy Inspector General of Police O.P. Mishra.
Asked if Tejpal would be arrested, he hinted that it could be the next logical step.
