Lucknow: The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh will declare the Intermiedate or Class 12 result 2016 on or before May 15, the sources at the board said.
"The results of Uttar Pradesh board Class 12 i.e. Intermediate exam is likely to be declared on or before May 15", sources said.
After declaration, the results will be available for download 12:30 pm onwards, it is said.
The official websites where UP HSC or Intermeditae or Class XII results will be ready for download are: http://upresults.nic.in and http://upmsp.nic.in.
In order to check the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on the suitable link. After clicking it, the candidates are required to enter the necessary details. On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are advised to take a printout for future use.
A total of 68,21,869 students, including 37,49,977 from high school and 30,71,892 from intermediate took the exam.
The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
