Uttar Pradesh board High School Class X results to be declared today are delayed by few hours

The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh, which is likely to declare the High School or SSC or Class 10 result 2016 today i.e. Sunday May 15 at 12:30 pm, has delayed the online results announcement by few hours, a message displayed on the board website said.

The board had earlier announced that the results of Uttar Pradesh board Class 10 i.e. High School or Class X exam will be declared today at around 12:30 pm. The message now on the board website shows "U. P. Board High School (Class X) Examination - 2016 Results likely to be announced on 15 May 2016."

The UP board has already announced the Intermediate or Class 12 results today at 01:00 pm.

While based on the above message it is likely that the results will be declared today afternoon, students should take a note of the fact that the board in itself has not confirmed the date and time. Therefore the result declarartion might be postponed and delayed.

The board website on the other hand say on its website: "Results for the Exams conducted in 2016 have not been announced so far...

"Please look for the announcement at Exams Results Portal ("results.nic.in")"

If declared, the results will be available on official website of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh.

The official websites where UP SSC or High School or Class X results will be ready for download are: "upresults.nic.in" and "upmsp.nic.in".

In order to check the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on the suitable link. After clicking it, the candidates are required to enter the necessary details. On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are advised to take a printout for future use.

As per the official data, this year out of total 68, 21,869 students, 37, 49,977 candidates appeared for the high school examination.

In the year 2015, the overall pass percentage was 93.73 and a total of 4, 23,671 students appeared for the examination.

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.

The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.

At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
