Allahabad: The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh has declared online the Intermiedate or Class 12 result 2016 today i.e. Sunday May 15 exactly at 01:00 pm in the afternoon. The results are available for download and the students can get them by logging in to the board website.
The results of Uttar Pradesh board Class 12 i.e. Intermediate exam was scheduled to be declared today at around 12:30 pm. The board however later announed that the results will be declared at 01:00 pm.
The results are now available online on the official website of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh. The official websites where UP HSC or Intermeditae or Class XII results will be ready for download are: upresults.nic.in and upmsp.nic.in.
In order to check the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on the suitable link. After clicking it, the candidates are required to enter the necessary details. On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen. The candidates are advised to take a printout for future use.
A total of 68,21,869 students, including 37,49,977 from high school and 30,71,892 from intermediate took the exam.
The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
