Uber India

Mumbai:
Abused by a driver of Uber India she named as Chetan, comedial Mallika Dua on Monday took to facebook to share her harrowing expereince of a ride through the rent a cab multinational company.

Describing her ordeal, Mallika wrote on her Facebook page that after hiring the cab she just requested the driver to adjust the temperature. Instead of paying heed to her simple request, she said, the driver started abusing her and said her to get down of the cab.

"Uber India is the most vile organisation to exist. They don’t check their drivers profiles before hiring them and seem to learn NOTHING from their mistakes. This driver Chetan brought the car to a screeching halt and asked me to get out of the car when I asked him to increase the air conditioning. Yes OVER THE AC TEMPERATURE", Mallika wrote.

"He (the driver) ended the trip saying “utar gaadi se. Nahi badhaunga AC. Uber tum logon ko ad mein kuch bhi dikhaata hai ki apna gaadi samjho. Aisa kuch nahi”, she wrote.

"We got into a very heated argument where I yelled my guts out at him screaming", she said.

She said soon after her post went viral, Uber contacted her to inform that the said driver has been barred from using Uber App.

"Uber India has reached out to me and assured me of corrective action from their side. Every single customer deserves to have their problems resolved, blue tick or no blue tick. This sort of s*** will not be tolerated. They told me they’ve barred this driver from their app and have escalated the matter further up", she wrote.
