Alto Betim (Goa): The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared online the results of the GBSHSE Class 12 or HSSC 2018 examinations in Science, Commerce and Arts all three streams on its official as well as associate websites today on Saturday April 28, 2018. The results have been declared on a number of websites.

Steps to check GBSHSE Class 12 or HSSC 2018 Result

The students who appeared for the Goa Board HSSC Class 12 examinations in 2018 can check their results online on the board’s official website http://gbshse.gov.in as well as through SMS and IVRS once it is available.

The list of websites, where the Goa board HSSC or Class 12 results 2018 can be checked are www.results.shiksha, www.schools9.com, www.examresults.net, www.examresults.net/goa, www.results.amarujala.com, www.knowyourresult.com , www.timesofindia.com, www.goa12.knowyourresult.com, www.indiaresults.com, www.jagranjosh.com and www.exametc.com.

The Goa board 12th result can also be checked via SMS. to get result via SMS type GOA12<space>SEAT NUMBER – Send it to 56263 or 58888 or 5676750 or 54242. To check result via IVRS and USSD type 58888 (58888xxx multi-modals) and 588# (*588# multi-modals).

The GBSHSE Class 12 or HSSC 2018 Examination of March 2018 was held between March 05 and March 24, 2018. For students of the vocational stream and for students with special needs, the exam began on March 06 and ended on March 17. The GBSHSE 12th Examinations were conducted at 16 examination centres in the state.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) had earlier said it will declare the HSSC 2018 results today.

"Results of March 2018 HSSC Examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be declared on Saturday, 28th April at 10.00 am", the board said in an official statement. "The distribution of passing certificates cum statement of Grades/Marks of HSSC Examination will be done on 30th April from 9.30 a.m. to 01.00 p.m."

A total of 18,499 students had registered for the 2018 Goa board 12th exam. Of them 5,728 had opted Science stream, 5,599 Commerce and 4,321 Arts steeam. A total of 2,855 students are Vocational candidates. Of the total 18,499 students, 9,667 are girls whereas 8,832 are boys.

In 2017 the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) had declared the HSSC or 12th result on April 27. More than 15,000 students had appeared for the exam and the overall pass percentage was 88.78%.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education was formed on May 27, 1975 under Goa Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975. It is authorised to conduct the HSSC & SSC examination and helps to develop the education condition of the state.
